Women in Agribusiness Week 2025 – Empowering Women to Design the Future of Climate-Smart Agriculture

The GuzaKuza Women in Agribusiness Association (GWAA), in partnership with the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda (IRCU) and other key stakeholders, proudly presents the Women in Agribusiness Week 2025, a landmark event dedicated to empowering women in agriculture across Africa.

This year’s theme, “Women Designing the Future of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA)”, highlights the critical role women play in advancing sustainable and climate-resilient farming practices to secure the continent’s agricultural future.

The week-long celebration will feature a series of transformative activities, including exhibitions, conferences, farm and industrial tours, and the prestigious African Women in Agribusiness Excellence Awards.

Uganda wins the Impact Award 2024

Guzakuza Women in Agribusiness Association(GWAA)  is excited to have won the Community Impact Award 2024 under the Ignite-African Women in Agribusiness Fellowship Cohort 8, 2024. The recognition was made during the graduation event that was held on 1st November 2024  in Accra Ghana.

Uganda was represented by our Chair person Dr. Tryphosa Sengendo at the event.
